Also known as "kado," meaning "the way of flowers," Ikebana goes beyond traditional flower arranging to embody a deep connection with nature and the spiritual essence of the materials used.

'Mont' - Montgomery County

We are a group of Sogetsu teachers and students who are dedicated to the advancement of Ikebana in the Greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Most of our members reside either in Bucks County or Montgomery County of Pennsylvania. Hence we named our group Sogetsu BuxMont Study Group.

Vision:
To "Expand love of nature and creativity through Sogetsu Ikebana"

We are proud to be showcased at the 2024 Philadelphia Flower Show!

Drawing tens of thousands of people to Philadelphia each year, The world's oldest and largest indoor horticultural event hosted by the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society (PHS) showcases juried competitions, demonstrations, artisan markets, special events and live performances.
